Overactive Bladder
Overactive bladder is a condition that causes the layered, smooth muscle that surrounds the bladder (detrusor muscle) to contract spastically, resulting in high bladder pressure and the urgent need to urinate. When the bladder functions under normal conditions, the detrusor muscle contracts and relaxes in response to the volume of urine in the bladder which causes the initiation of urination. People with overactive bladder experience the urgency to urinate at unpredictable times, and often lose control before reaching the toilet.
Novartis is seeking people to participate in a clinical trial(s) testing the safety

Pediatric Neurogenic Bladder Study CDAR328B2201
The purpose of this Novartis clinical trial is to find out the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug in children (ages 6 to 15) who have neurogenic detrusor overactivity (overactive bladder), which is a condition commonly found in a neurogenic bladder such as spina bifida or spinal cord injury. An "investigational drug" is a drug that is being clinically tested and is not approved for sale or use in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for the indication in which it is being studied.
Trial phase: Phase 2
Participation Duration: Participants will be required to visit the study center about 4 times over the duration of 1 month.
Protocol Number: CDAR328B2201
